Amateur Radio Club holds field day - The Bay City Tribune: News

Members of the Matagorda County Amateur
Radio Club will participate in the national Amateur Radio Field Day
exercise, June 27 – 28 near the East Pavilion in LeTulle Park. Operation
will be from 1 p.m. Saturday until 1 p.m. Sunday.





Since 1933, ham
radio operators across North America have established temporary ham
radio stations in public locations during field day to showcase the
science and skill of amateur radio. This event is open to the public and
anyone interested in learning about ham radio is encouraged to attend.
