This version has pure Android. Beware of competition who sells firmware versions that will not allow to install apps from the PlayStore. If you already purchased from a different vendor, you need to install the T298s Unlocked firmware to download the popular ham radio apps.
The Inrico T298s is a network radio with an embedded UHF FM transceiver that allows 100% coverage. Either by cell or radio, you will always be connected.
You may setup separate TX and RX frequencies, as well program CTCSS tones to use with a conventional repeater.
